Alberto Petracchi graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Law in 1970, where he also attended a PhD in Economy & Finance.
Mr. Petracchi has acted as a National Judge in Commercial Matters and as a Director of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.
He has taught at Universidad de Buenos Aires, first in the chair of Civil Law- General Part, and then in the chair of Commercial Law I.
He was involved in technical committees assisting the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, The Department of Economy and the Economic Committee and Economic Issues of the Honorable National Senate.
